About Our Business
Corporate Overview
M&M was founded in 1999 and formed as a sole proprietorship by Matt Sibley. The
company was initially a hobby to Matt at the age of fourteen, and a way to make
some extra money. M&M continued to progressively grow as did Matt. In 2005 M&M
was formed as a LLC as we were introduced into the snow and ice management
industry. In 2007 as Matt wrapped up his college pursuits, the progress of M&M
kicked into overdrive. Since then, the company has continually grown by 11-25% in
sales each year. More importantly, we have been able to continually follow our
expansion plan. The plan includes spending 20% of the total equipment value
each year in expansion or replacement. This allows the company to maintain a
low monthly overhead with minimal debt. This is critical while operating in these
current economic times.
We employ up to 27 full time employees, up to 6 part time employees, and an
approximate total of 40 employees and subcontractors each year, based on the
seasonal conditions. Our employees operate 15 vehicles, 7 trailers, 14 mowers,
and multiple pieces of construction equipment.
M&M has been able to continually expand through hard work, dedication,
reasonable service charges, and most importantly great customer service. Matt
generally is the second or first point of contact on day to day operations. The
company’s employees take great pride in their work and performance. The work
environment is typically a competitive one, as they compete to deliver a better
finished product.
In conclusion, M&M has formed and maintained a reputation of providing above
satisfactory work, for a reasonable price, while maintaining excellent client
communication skills. It is our goal that every contract past or present will give us a
positive review if requested. We feel that this will allow us to operate within, and
expand our current business model.
